Hospice of Michigan To Benefit From Cellular Phone Donation Effort

Hospice of Michigan To Benefit From Cellular Phone Donation Effort

Donors will be able to contribute & recycle at the same time.

Warren, MI (PRWEB) November 26, 2004

Hospice of Michigan, a provider of both comprehensive health care services for people with a terminal illness and support for their loved ones, will soon make financial donation to their cause and mission easier than ever.

American Cellular Donation Organization (ACDO), a nonprofit organization based in Warren, announced today that Hospice of Michigan will launch a used cell phone collection campaign. During the campaign, used, idle cell phones will be asked for, thus freeing them from closets, desks and dressers and enabling them to be exchanged for charitable cash. No out-of-pocket cash donation is needed -- just a willingness to donate a used cell phone.

Nonworking cell phones that are collected will be recycled according to all EPA guidelines so they donÂ’t end up in landfills, where their toxins could harm the environment.

“We are honored and pleased to assist Hospice of Michigan in this fundraising and recycling effort” ACDO founder and CEO Vincent Serio said today. “Thanks to Hospice, terminally ill patients and their families are provided with the care and support that they so badly need,” Mr. Serio added.

Mr. Serio said there are currently over 500 million idle cell phones in the United States and, he said, the country is seeing the first overabundance of cell phones in its history, providing an untapped resource for fundraising and recycling.

Bradley Gee, Development Associate for Hospice of Michigan, said, “All funds raised through this project will be used to support Hospice of Michigan’s Open Access policy. Our organization has an unwavering commitment to provide quality end-of-life care to any person requesting it, regardless of ability to pay.”

ACDO turns the donated cell phones into cash thru their sale to third world countries, small retailers, and others who need mobile communication but would not otherwise be able to afford it.

People interested in donating their used cell phones to Hospice of Michigan are urged to call (313) 578-5000. For more information about ACDO, including how your organization can raise funds thru cell phone donations, call (586) 353-1010 or visit www. cellulardonation. org.

Breaking the Sound Barriers of Disease -- Unconventional Technique Produces Miracles of Non Medicine

Breaking the Sound Barriers of Disease -- Unconventional Technique Produces Miracles of Non Medicine

The regeneration of nerve and muscle tissue, through ambient presentation of low frequency sound, is now a reality. Using biofrequencies to evaluate health risks and disease involvement is an advancement that could revolutionize medicine. Frequency based biomarkers exhibit considerable potential to evaluate human form, function and biochemistry using novel math based protocols.

(PRWEB) July 28, 2005

The regeneration of nerve and muscle tissue, through ambient sound presentation, is now a reality. Macular degeneration, the deterioration of a part of the field of vision, need not be considered irreversible any longer. The millions of adults who report daily back pain need not continue to suffer. These are but a few of the research outcomes that have been gaining considerable attention even though the developing protocols are still emerging.

Using biofrequencies to evaluate health risks and disease involvement is an advancement that could revolutionize medicine. Studies have shown that frequency based biomarkers exhibit considerable potential to evaluate human form, function and biochemistry using novel math based protocols. Based on these innovative case studies, frequency based templates for heart disease markers, mitochondrial and immune disorders, weight management, anti aging, DNA/RNA analysis, metabolism issues, nutrient requirements, genetic syndromes, pain management and pathogenic and toxicity measurements are being developed and tested.

With the sophistication of modern science you would expect major contributions to medical science to come from prestigious research facilities or well-funded commercial ventures. Yet these miracles of non medicine are being repeatedly demonstrated by a small biotech company located in poverty stricken Appalachia. The techniques and protocols have been developed over several years by Sharry Edwards and have become known as Human BioAcoustic Vocal Profiling Techniques & Technologies. A separate company, nVoice™ has been established to bring these procedures and resulting products to market.

Results of Edwards' pioneering research projects have increasingly caught the attention of groups who have invited Edwards to explore a wider range of frequency based health related issues. Her work with invading pathogens, particularly nanobacteria, was a well-received topic at a BioAcoustic conference last summer. Edwards' has decoded the frequencies associated with nanobacteria and has demonstrated a predictable mathematical relationship of tooth plaque to the early warning signs of heart disease.

At that conference, Roman Chrucky, MD credited Edwards' frequency protocols using nanobacteria with helping his body reverse not only his heart condition but his prostate cancer as well.

Larry Trivieri, an internationally known expert and author, has identified Edwards as one of the true pioneers in the field of energy medicine, specifically the use of sound as a diagnostic management tool. One of Trivieri's latest publications, Health on the Edge: Visionary Views of Healing in the New Millennium includes a chapter outlining Edwards' innovative work with Human BioAcoustics.

Trivieri noted that the interviews with the twelve experts in the book were designed to help him answer the question as to what the future of our health system holds. To respond to this concern he wanted "to speak to experts in the vanguard to find out from them where their research is leading us." His search for a legitimate leader in the field of sound therapy lead him to Edwards and her company, Sound Health, which is located in Albany, Ohio, USA (www. soundhealthinc. com).

Examples of Edwards' work that brought her to the attention of Trivieri included toxicity evaluations for World Trade Center engineers and firemen who worked at ground zero; the development of a computerized pre-screening for vaccination risk factors; and pain relief through the presentation of low-frequency sound. Trivieri was particularly interested in the frequency correlations of Myrex (the flame retardant causing the fireman's cough) with genetic issues relating to early age onset breast cancer. Edwards' studies indicate that those exposed to Myrex would be vulnerable to toxin related cancer symptoms because of the frequency relationships of the two issues.

“I've been very fortunate in having worked with literally hundreds of the world's top physicians and researchers in this field,“ Trivieri says, “and I know that answers and solutions exist right now for all of the health problems currently facing our nation. The proprietary technologies that she (Edwards) developed have the potential to revolutionize not only medicine, but also our understanding of whom and what we are as human beings. The exciting work she is doing is truly a "healing for the new millennium!"

Edwards believes that BioAcoustic Vocal Profiling may be an answer to the issues facing the world in terms of the International Food Code - Codex regulations that may restrict our access to much needed nutrients. “As we resist the loss of our health rights and freedoms we can also begin to establish alternative means that move beyond what is being conventionally offered. We need to thoroughly develop the techniques of frequency-based wellness so that we will have the option to use BioAcoustics to monitor and manage health. We are working on several projects that may allow an individual to supply their nutrient and biochemical needs through sound frequencies. If we lose the Codex fight for access to nutrients, this is certainly a viable alternative in support of self health,” declares Edwards.

Other companies are beginning to follow Edwards' twenty year lead. Pfizer pharmaceuticals published a paper last year indicating that they are using voice frequency analysis to predict Parkinson's disease. UCLA has announced a new program that will train scientists to listen to the sounds of cells in the hopes of finding a way to translate cell sounds into disease information data. Edwards' team has been producing research data and results for over a decade using vocal data and low frequency sound presentation.

"Breaking the sound barriers of disease" as a concept, likely conjures-up images that would be associated with a sci-fi flick but it is a substantiated fact that sound, under research conditions, has provided support in the reestablish of nerves, mitigation of macular degeneration, reversal of diagnosed multiple sclerosis, release of back pain, stimulation of metabolism and rehabilitation of muscle trauma.

"We anticipate that our efforts will continue to move medicine forward as we nudge conventional medicine toward a more competent and compassionate future," Edwards adds.

Food Translation Cards for Vegetarians Traveling in Foreign-Speaking Countries

Food Translation Cards for Vegetarians Traveling in Foreign-Speaking Countries

Vegetarians who travel to foreign-speaking countries can now order food translation cards to help them at restaurants and markets. Visitors to the SelectWisely web site can now choose from 13 different languages to create a card specific to their travel plans.

WAYNE, NJ (PRWEB) October 18, 2004

SelectWisely has expanded its food translation card offerings to address the needs of vegetarians. Visitors to their Web site can now choose from 13 different languages to create a card specific to their travel plans.

“In many European countries, meat, chicken and pork are key ingredients in dishes, though not easy to identify on restaurant menus or at food stands”, says Pam Ahlberg, president of SelectWisely. “Our cards provide vegetarians a simple tool to communicate their dietary preferences.”

According to recent reports, about 2.5% of the U. S. population, or 7 million people, are vegetarians. Most cite health, religious and ethical reasons for their adherence to a meatless diet.

Whether traveling on vacation or business, vegetarians have a difficult time avoiding dishes that contain meat, fish or poultry, particularly since many processed foods, sauces, flavorings and soups are made from these animal products. In countries such as Spain there is a strong cultural affinity to meat as a dietary staple and in Argentina beef is the heart of the economy and the diet.

SelectWiselyÂ’s new multi-language Vegetarian cards help travelers communicate to restaurant staff and other food vendors the information necessary to avoid unwanted foods. By visiting the SelectWisely Web site, customers can create a card specific to their dietary and language requirements.

SelectWisely offers cards in:

· 12 different languages. (French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, German, Russian, Polish, 2 forms of Chinese, 2 forms of Portuguese and English)

· 40 different foods. (Meat, fish, shellfish, pork, poultry, etc., as well as common allergy-producing foods such as nuts, milk, shellfish, and eggs)

· 6 different types of cards. (Single language and multiple languages/foods per card)

About SelectWisely

Launched in 2004, SelectWisely offers travelers a simple, customized tool to communicate their food preferences while traveling in foreign-speaking countries.

The SelectWisely Web site allows customers with food allergies, restrictions or sensitivities to create wallet-sized, laminated food translation cards specific to their needs. Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and SportsSignup Renew Service Agreement

Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and SportsSignup Renew Service Agreement

Company to provides state-level member management system through 2011 to one of the largest state soccer associations in the United States. Press release details Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association's renewal of a 3 year agreement with SportsSignup to provide roster management, online registration, and risk management (coach & volunteer background check) services to the association and its member leagues and soccer clubs.

Latham, NY (PRWEB) April 25, 2008

Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA), one of the largest state soccer associations in the United States, today announced their renewal of a 3 year agreement with SportsSignup to provide roster management, online registration (http://www. sportssignup. com/products/club/club_details. aspx), and risk management (coach & volunteer background check (http://www. sportssignup. com/products/kidsafe/kidsafe_details. aspx)) services to the association and its member leagues and soccer clubs. SportsSignup's system allows players to register online via a web-based interface that is managed independently by each local soccer club. Club administrators can then submit rosters electronically from the system directly to ENYYSA leagues for approvals, giving state-level administrators tools to ensure compliance with both ENYYSA's and US Youth Soccer rules regarding player transfers, dual registrations, roster sizes, birth date verification, etc.

"SportsSignup has been a great partner with us since the start of our relationship in early 2004. With over 130,000 players, 12 member leagues, and hundreds of individual clubs, it is essential that we work with a company that is ready and willing to grow and scale with our organization," said Barry Salter, president of ENYYSA. "There are many complexities working within a hierarchy of multiple, independent soccer organizations and leagues, and the SportsSignup system has both the flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different needs at each level," continued Salter.

SportsSignup's service platform was developed to meet the needs of state soccer associations, leagues, and their member soccer clubs. Integration between individual member clubs, affiliated leagues, and ENYYSA is seamless, as the same database is used to manage all registration data. The system works by allowing families to use a SportsSignup hosted web form to register their children to play for a specific soccer club via the club's website. Children are then placed on a team roster by a club administrator which is then "submitted" to their affiliated league for approval. Once the roster is electronically approved, official rosters and player passes can be printed, all from an easy-to-use online interface. Coaches and other volunteers must complete and pass an online risk management application, powered by SportsSignup's KidSafePlus software, to be eligible to participate in ENYYSA sanctioned programs. In addition to roster management and risk management services, SportsSignup's online registration system is also used to manage ENYYSA's Olympic Development and US Youth Soccer Eastern New York State Championships & ENYYSA Challenge Cup.

"There is no doubt that we would not be in a market leadership position we are today without our continuing relationship with ENYYSA. Much of our platform was built to meet the needs of ENYYSA by creating a system that allows individual clubs to maintain full autonomy of their organization while conforming to rules established at the state and national levels, including a system to easily manage thousands of background checks," said Anthony Bruno, CEO of SportsSignup. "One of our unique solutions is to fully integrate background checks managed at the state level with the same system used by club administrators to issue coach passes. This process ensures full compliance with ENYYSA's risk management policies aimed at reducing the risk to our children," concluded Bruno.

For more information, visit SportsSignup (http://www. sportssignup. com) or ENYYSA (http://www. enysoccer. com)

Animal Expert Comments: Pet Rescue A Disaster, Time To End Thirteen Years of Bad Luck

Animal Expert Comments: Pet Rescue A Disaster, Time To End Thirteen Years of Bad Luck

The losses of life and property in recent hurricanes are staggering but the stress and trauma escalated for evacuees forced to leave their pets to be evacuated. Animal expert and author, Diana L. Guerrero says this is not a new issue and that the United States congressional bill proposed on Thursday, September 22, 2005 is long overdue. She also urges action for to avoid pet problems in the event of future crisis.

Big Bear Lake, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2005

Thirteen is an unlucky number when it comes to disaster preparedness for pets. When Hurricane Andrew struck Florida in 1992 at least 1,000 healthy pets were euthanized due to a lack of preparedness for animals and insufficient space to house them. Then, just six years ago and estimated 3 million farm animals and pets died in Hurricane Floyd. The devastation by Hurricane Katrina has yet to be tallied, but hopefully will catalyze the end of the thirteen years of inadequate pet disaster preparations and bad luck for animal companions.

According to animal disaster preparedness expert and author Diana L. Guerrero, pet rescue efforts during disasters really didn’t gain momentum until after Hurricane Andrew. She said, “Even back then rescue agencies found that people were unwilling to evacuate with their animals. This remains true today. People will risk their lives and those of rescuers because they don’t want to abandon their furry family members. The only difference is that now the problem has escalated because pet ownership is up—over sixty percent of American homes houses pets and there is no excuse for overlooking that demographic.”

Guerrero, a resident of the San Bernardino Mountains, is the author of the booklet, "Animal Disaster Preparedness for Pet Owners & Pet Professionals" and is one of the contributing editors to "Resources for Crisis Management in Zoos and Other Animal Care Facilities, Volume I." Guerrero is currently working on project on crisis management scheduled for release in the summer of 2006.

In addition to her written works, she holds numerous certifications in the animal disaster field from groups such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). She has practical training and field experience in animal disaster work with United Animal Nations and from the American Humane Association and works to educate people on the importance of pet and animal disaster preparedness.

Guerrero said, "In any disaster, if a situation is unsafe for humans it is unsafe for animals. Animals are not usually allowed in human emergency shelters due to health precautions and limited space. People continue to fail to prepare for disasters and are even worse when it come to pet preparedness. The magnitude of Hurricane Katrina and the dismal images from that disaster highlight the importance of planning, preparation and need to restructure interagency communication and cooperation.”

Guerrero conducts teleseminars, classes via telephone lines, on pet disaster preparation and post crisis behavioral problems. Her animal disaster booklet, now in the seventh edition, offers tips to prepare prior to a disaster, how to form or get involved in a animal disaster preparedness network, and what items to include in kits for dogs, cats, horses, and birds. The text also includes tip sheets for behavior, identification, health, diet, and sanitation for multiple species during and after disasters.

In the booklet, she stresses that contacting local animal shelters and other animal service agencies in advance of a disaster is a critical preparedness step. The minimum distance she recommends for establishing a network is from fifty to one hundred miles away. She also says people have to plan to evacuate with their pets and have the supplies on hand to care for them.

Guerrero has first hand experience about what is going on in the disaster zones through her rescue work after hurricanes, floods, and her own survival through California earthquakes and wildfires.

She said, "This disaster is a reminder to the nation that nobody can be complacent about disaster preparedness. Americans need to quit being apathetic about the risks in their areas and prepare.”

On Thursday, September 22, 2005 a congressional bill was introduced that would amend federal law so that the safety of pets and service animals are considered in future disasters. Guerrero said that it is long overdue and is only the tip of the iceberg.

“Ultimately, each home should prepare for natural disasters and the potential for a crisis in their areas. States, counties, cities and local neighbors have to take action so that the infrastructure and memorandums of understanding are in place.”

GuerreroÂ’s booklet also includes sections on post disaster animal behavior along with a valuable list of resources for the pet owner including animal disaster agencies, where to get training, and suppliers of kits and equipment.

GuerreroÂ’s top tips are:

1. Develop a plan in advance and take your pets with you. You will not usually be allowed to go back and get them. Collapsible wire carriers are the best and be sure to have collars and leashes.

2. Have identification and veterinary records in your crisis evacuation kits for your family and pets. All animals should be up to date with their vaccinations. Collar IDs, tattoos and microchips are vital necessities.

3. Use waterproof buckets or containers for your items so you can grab them and go. Later they can be used for water storage. Have food, water and other items for at least a week.

4. Pay attention to directives from your local emergency agencies to avoid putting yourself and rescue personnel at additional risk.

Guerrero concluded, “No matter how much you prepare you can never really brace yourself for the wreckage a disaster creates in your life or the life of those that you love."

Readers interesting in donating to Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita disaster animal rescue groups can do so via the direct links at http://www. arkanimals. com (http://www. arkanimals. com). The hurricane pet page also allows disaster victims to connect with the animal rescue groups in their area and contains updates from zoos and other pet agencies in the disaster zone. CANIDAE Pet Foods Holds Charity Raffle at 2009 Michigan Pet Expo to Benefit MSU College of Veterinary Medicine

By donating grand prize and selling tickets, CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods continues its tradition of raising funds to promote companion animal cancer research.

San Luis Obispo, CA (PRWEB) December 20, 2009

CANIDAE Pet Foods, Inc. (http://www. canidae. com (http://www. canidae. com)), a manufacturer of all natural holistic pet foods that are fed and recommended by thousands of certified breeders and rescue organizations throughout North America, sold raffle tickets at the 2009 Michigan Pet Expo to benefit cancer research.

The Michigan Pet Expo is a three day family-focused annual event where thousands of pet lovers are treated to a wide range of pet products, services, and great entertainment including CANIDAE Pet Foods sponsored Team Air Gunner in the Ultimate Air Dog Dock Diving competitions.

Enthusiastic expo attendees purchased raffle tickets at the CANIDAE Pet Foods booth for both a chance to win a Felt bicycle and to help contribute to the ongoing cancer research projects at the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, Center for Comparative Oncology.

As part of their continuing commitment to foster Responsible Pet Ownership and help animals in need, CANIDAE donated the bicycle to the raffle, allowing 100% of the proceeds to go directly to the college to help fund its research programs. To date, CANIDAE has helped raise thousands of dollars for pet related charities across North America as part of its ongoing mission to help needy animals.

Thomas MacGillis of Westland, Michigan was the grand prize winner of the Felt bicycle. He has two dogs, both of whom he rescued from the Westland Animal Shelter. His younger dog Jed, 3, has been fed CANIDAE All Life Stages his entire life. His other dog Jasper, 13, was switched to CANIDAE several years ago.

Upon hearing of his good fortune, MacGillis said, "I switched Jasper from another brand when I got Jed. Jasper lost 5 pounds within a couple of weeks. The vet was very happy with this. She wanted him to take some weight off his hips because he was getting older. Jasper has maintained this weight for the last 3 years. Angelman Syndrome Foundation Takes Major Step Toward Furthering Research Efforts

Angelman Syndrome Foundation Takes Major Step Toward Furthering Research Efforts

The Angelman Syndrome Foundation, www. angelman. org, announced the formation of the Angelman Treatment and Research Institute (ATRI), which will direct the organization's rapidly increasing research funding. The ATRI will also serve as a hub for more than 30 organizations, researchers and scientists worldwide to share discoveries and treatments for this neuro-genetic disorder. The announcement of the ATRI was made during the Angelman Syndrome Foundation's biennial conference in Orlando, Fla.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 6, 2009

The Angelman Syndrome Foundation, www. angelman. org, announced the formation of the Angelman Treatment and Research Institute (ATRI), which will direct the organization's rapidly increasing research funding.

News Facts Related to Angelman Syndrome and the ATRI:
Angelman Syndrome (AS) occurs once in every 15,000 live births and exhibits symptoms such as: developmental delay; lack of speech; seizures; inappropriate laughter; and walking and balance disorders.

ATRI will realize the Angelman Syndrome Foundation's "scientific roadmap," which will help direct its aggressive funding of AS research.

Short term focus of the roadmap is to fund research that finds treatments that may cure symptoms of AS while continuing ongoing research and clinical trials involving UBE3A, the abnormal gene in AS patients.

Research funding will also focus on new therapies for symptoms, pharmaceuticals, biological agents, adaptive devices, surgical and diagnostic procedures.

An emphasis on adult AS patients will extend the scope of clinical trials to include a wide age group and investigate and advance life and self-help skills, vocational training, and access to community programs and health services.

ATRI will allow scientific members to conduct Web-based meetings and symposiums, and convene as necessary to discuss research progress and activities.

Since AS shares symptoms with several other disorders, including autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, Rett Syndrome, and Prader-Willi Syndrome, any progress toward treating and curing symptoms has the potential to positively affect more than 12 million people.

Quotes Attributed to Michael D. Ehlers, M. D., Ph. D., Department of Neurobiology at Duke University Medical Center:
"The creation of the Angelman Treatment and Research Institute is exciting and timely. "The priorities as established by the ATRI are right on in recognizing the continued need for expanding our fundamental knowledge of UBE3A and its role in brain development and function." "The Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to be applauded for having the vision to recognize the critical importance of basic research and in setting this research on a trajectory toward a cure." "I see a future of great opportunity and advance in neurodevelopmental disorders with Angelman Syndrome and the ATRI leading the way."

Quotes Attributed to Eileen Braun, Angelman Syndrome Foundation Executive Director
The Angelman Syndrome Foundation is committing $125,000 in seed funding to start ATRI with an ultimate goal of raising $2 million within two years. Funding will be used to implement program goals while the Angelman Syndrome Foundation's Scientific Advisory Committee will continue administering grant reviews and making funding recommendations for innovative research.

About Angelman Syndrome:
Identified by Dr. Harry Angelman, AS occurs once in every 15,000 live births and exhibits symptoms such as: developmental delay; lack of speech; seizures; inappropriate laughter; and walking and balance disorders. It is a life-long neuro-genetic disorder usually identified in patients between two and five years old. AS is often misdiagnosed as autism and a cure has not yet been developed.

About Angelman Syndrome Foundation:
The Angelman Syndrome Foundation, the leading resource for AS information, support and AS research funding was founded more than 20 years ago with the mission of advancing the awareness and treatment of AS through education and information, research and support for individuals with AS, their families and other concerned parties. Since 1996 the Angelman Syndrome Foundation has funded 51 research grants totaling over $2.5 million. The Angelman Syndrome Foundation has awarded a majority of these funds ($2.2 million) beginning in 2005. In November 2008, the Angelman Syndrome Foundation received Charity Navigator's 4-star rating for sound fiscal management. Only a quarter of all charities evaluated by Charity Navigator receive this distinction of demonstrating the ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances.

Leukemia Patient Fights Cancer With Japanese Mythology

Leukemia Patient Fights Cancer With Japanese Mythology

After being diagnosed with leukemia, 25-year-old Michael Nelson campaigns for treatment funds using a clever website and the famous story of Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes. In the story of Sadako, a young Japanese girl attempts to fight her leukemia by following an ancient legend claiming to cure all illness by folding 1000 paper cranes. If Michael can sell 10,000 small website advertisements in the shape of a paper crane, he will have enough money to afford the cure for his cancer.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) November 19, 2005

After being diagnosed with leukemia, 25-year-old Michael Nelson campaigns for treatment funds using a clever website and the famous story of Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes. In the story of Sadako, a young Japanese girl attempts to fight her leukemia by following an ancient legend claiming to cure all illness by folding 1000 paper cranes. If Michael can sell 10,000 small website advertisements in the shape of a paper crane, he will have enough money to afford the cure for his cancer.

Michael John Nelson, otherwise known as MJ, is a 25-year-old ex-boxer who now spends his time battling a relentless opponent known for punching below the belt. Apparently, nobody told him that MJ left the ring almost eleven months ago when he was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). Since January of 2005 MJ has faced a daily bout with cancer. This kid has shown some serious endurance, but it appears that the eye of the tiger may be in the opponent’s corner this round.

The only known cure for CML is by way of stemcell treatment. Unfortunately, most of the research and treatment options for stemcell technology have been outlawed in the United States. The only available options for stemcell treatment at this point are extremely expensive and most medical insurance companies will not cover the procedures.

While there is no other known cure for CML, there are curative measures that may be taken to prolong the life of a patient. One of these methods includes a drug called Gleevec that can help bring the cancer into remission where it can be held at bay for years at a time. This is usually accompanied by a bone marrow transplant which requires a suitable donor and has a failure rate of about 25% for those who are in the remission stages of their cancer. As far as we know, MJ has never been in remission. The doctors have never been able to bring his infected white blood cell count below 26.7% and they currently reside at 66.9% making his chances of success even worse. Although MJ has been on Gleevec for the past few months, he has recently been taken off of it by his doctor who feels the drug is not helping at this point. He is scheduled to undergo a bone marrow transplant in December and begins chemotherapy in a few days in preparation for the surgery. The life expectancy of a leukemia bone marrow transplant survivor is still only a handful of years at best. But with a world full of bad news, MJ has somehow found a gem of hope.

As if delivered by angels, a local Minnesota business owner named Jaime Gehly decides to put all operations on hold to help raise the money for MJ to receive the stemcell treatment he so desperately wants. Mr. Gehly runs an online custom computer and hardware company called Q & N Retail and Services. The funding necessary for MJ’s stemcell treatment ranges from $800,000 to $1.4 million. In order to begin the initial testing to discover if MJ will be eligible for the full procedure it will cost $25,000 with a required credit limit of at least $250,000. With the help of Gehly and his business, MJ feels he now has a good shot at raising this money.

“We’ve got a long way to go, but Jaime and his company, Q&N, have put together this ingenious website that will probably be copied by people in these situations for years to come,” states MJ on his newly found motivation to fight his cancer.

The website is themed after the true story of a young Japanese girl who survived the World War II bombing of Hiroshima only to extract Leukemia from the radiation 10 years later. The story was published years ago in a popular book called Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr. The story tells of a 12-year-old girl who attempts to restore her health by folding 1000 origami paper cranes. She had gotten the idea from an ancient Japanese legend that promised to cure all illness for whoever could accomplish this feat. www. TenThousandPaperCranes. com is Jaime Gehly’s modern day version of the tale.

“The website has a grid of 10,000 small squares. Inside each square is a little drawing of a paper crane. For every $80 donation we receive, that person gets to take down one of the cranes and replace it with their own advertisement and website link. If we sell all 10,000 paper cranes, we will have the $800,000 for MJ,” explains Gehly.

Gehly also admits that the idea for the website was not entirely of his own design. He claims to have gotten the idea off of a site called MillionDollarHomePage. com, “I can’t take credit for the idea. A guy named Alex Tew from the UK thought up the idea to raise money for college. I thought it was so clever that I purchased $200 worth of ad space for Q & N. He launched just over 3 months ago and already has earned over $500,000.”

While Gehly’s version has slight similarities to the predecessors website, the additional themed reference towards Coerr’s novel and a far more serious and urgent objective seem to carry a greater level of public interest. Online statistics show that the majority of those who have purchased advertising space on Alex Tew’s Million Dollar Home Page have more than doubled their website traffic due to the extensive media coverage on his plight. If that kind of return can be expected from MJ’s Ten Thousand Paper Cranes then I doubt there will be any problem raising the necessary funds. In addition, Gehly has stated that the purchased ad space will remain online for another five years, once placed on the site. Already, the website is showing signs of some heavy movements in site traffic.

To help increase public awareness of his efforts, Gehly has teamed up with another hard-hitter in the pixel market, the Million Quarter Web Page, in which pixels can be purchased for 25 cents each. This partnership appears to be paying off as both sites have begun to see immense improvement in site traffic, “I contacted them early on in my campaign and we decided we could help each other out. If you purchase pixels on the Million Quarter Web Page tell them, ‘Ten Thousand Paper Cranes sent me,’ and they’ll give you additional free pixels with your order.”

Million Quarter Web Page is located at http://www. MillionQuarterWebPage. com (http://www. MillionQuarterWebPage. com) and also offers a bonus pixel promotion for referred donations to Ten Thousand Paper Cranes. Having spent the last three weeks as a featured ‘Mover and Shaker’ on Alexa. com’s traffic ranking website, it seems as though the buddy system is paying off for these two advertising pioneers.

With the help of Q & N Retail and Services, M. J. Nelson seems to be in good hands, for the time being. Although with the deadline fast approaching and MJ’s health rapidly declining, it’s hard to say how long they will have to raise these funds. It’s going to take a lot of help and some serious pixel mania to reach their goal, but mix that with a solid game-plan and a bit of luck and perhaps MJ will end up receiving the medical attention he so desperately desires.

Dr. Edwin Ishoo is the Only Physician in Boston and New England Offering Hi Def LipoSculpture Using Vaser and Smartlipo Triplex

Dr. Edwin Ishoo is the Only Physician in Boston and New England Offering Hi Def LipoSculpture Using Vaser and Smartlipo Triplex

The sculpted, youthful body we used to only imagine is now a reality. Smartlipo and Vaser Hi Def LipoSculpture is a body sculpting technique originally developed by plastic surgeons for men and women who are generally healthy and fit, and who desire a more sculpted, muscular appearance. Smartlipo™ and Vaser Hi Def LipoSculpture is no longer just reserved for high-level fit people, but for normal people that desire to look their best-ever. Boston Cosmetic Surgery Center is now the only provider of Smartlipo™ and Vaser Hi Def Liposculpture in Boston and New England.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 23, 2010

VASER Hi-Def LipoSculpture was originally developed by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos of Colombia in 2002, and brought to the U. S. and perfected by Colorado surgeon Dr. John Millard since 2005. Recognizing the importance of this sophisticated method of body sculpting for his clientele, Dr. Ishoo, who has performed hundreds of Smartlipo and VASER procedures with great results, traveled to the Advanced Body Sculpting Institute in Colorado and received extensive hands-on training in this advanced technique with Dr. Millard. To date, fewer than 100 surgeons have been trained in the world, with only a handful practicing in the U. S. Dr. Ishoo is the first and only surgeon qualified to perform the Smartlipo and VASER Hi-Def LipoSculpture in New England. "The technology combined with an aesthetic appreciation for the human anatomy and an experienced liposuction surgeon allows for spectacular results to which nothing else even comes close," said Dr. Ishoo.

Smartlipo™ (http://www. bostoncosmeticsurgerycenter. com/Procedures/Advanced-Liposuction/SmartLipo-Triplex-.aspx) and VASER® Hi Def Liposculpture (http://www. bostoncosmeticsurgerycenter. com/Procedures/Advanced-Liposuction/VASER-Hi-Def. aspx) creates a sculpted, athletic appearance by improving the contours of the body and the definition of the underlying musculature. It involves precisely performed, deep and superficial Smartlipo and VASER Hi Def Liposculpture around muscle groups in the abdomen, chest, sides, back, arms, and legs.

Whereas traditional liposuction, which only reduces volume and circumference, was the only option, Smartlipo and VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture has revolutionized the surgeon's ability to bring enhanced, natural, well-toned definition to patients. Smartlipo and VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture is an advanced procedure that combines cutting-edge technologies such as VASER and Smartlipo Triplex with state of the art technique which focuses on the precise removal of superficial and deep fat around muscle groups in order to enhance the visibility of the underlying musculature, resulting in a youthful, natural and sculpted appearance. If you have worked hard at the gym for rock hard abs but can't shift the top layer of fat hiding your muscles, this is the solution you are looking for.

Dr. Edwin Ishoo (http://www. bostoncosmeticsurgerycenter. com/Meet-Our-Doctor. aspx#meet), a board-certified surgeon and the founder and director of the Boston Cosmetic Surgery Center states "Smartlipo and VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture is truly a highly effective body sculpting procedure, unlike any other". It was developed to create and enhance athletic appearances in people who are of a 'normal' weight or build and have a good degree of muscle tone already, the pictures showing patients before and after treatment speak for themselves.

Many healthy, fit people complain that they go to the gym but they have trouble achieving the muscle definition they desire and become discouraged. People who choose High Definition LipoSculpture do not see it as a failure to achieve fitness, but an enhancement to their current form. Often, Hi Def LipoSculpture gives one the motivation to go back to the gym again after some years of neglect, and a renewed quest for a beautiful body. The people whom one might least expect to have liposuction benefit most from Smartlipo™ and VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture. Personal trainers, gym fanatics and models make up 70% of clients for Smartlipo and VASER Hi Def. "More than just liposuction, we can create enhanced muscle definition with VHD, this is the ultimate advance in body sculpting." said Dr. Ishoo, and added "There is no reason to have any other liposuction procedure if you are looking to achieve enhanced muscle definition."

Boston Cosmetic Surgery Center (http://www. bostoncosmeticsurgerycenter. com/) is a leading aesthetics center in Massachusetts and New England. Boston Cosmetic Surgery Center is committed to providing improved quality of life through enhanced physical appearance, offering a complete range of services including Smartlipo Triplex, VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture, Autologous Fat Transfer and facial laser enhancements to areas within Boston and the South Shore with offices in Brookline and Marshfield.

Philadelphia Nightclub Responsible for Wrongful Death of 23-Year-Old Woman

Philadelphia Nightclub Responsible for Wrongful Death of 23-Year-Old Woman

Lawsuit Reinforces That Bars Must Bear Social Responsibility of Protecting Their Customers and the Public at Large from Over Intoxication. Jury Awards 1.9 Million Dollars to Estate of Brynne A. Schuenemann

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) June 8, 2010 -

A Philadelphia nightclub, Dreemz, has been held civilly accountable in the death of 23-year-old Brynne A. Schuenemann for continuing to serve the victim alcoholic beverages despite visible intoxication. As a result of Dreemz negligence, Ms. Schuenemann died tragically from injuries sustained when her automobile crashed along Delaware Avenue on November 5, 2006.

The lawsuit, Plaintiff, Raymond F. Schuenemann, III, Administrator of the Estate of Brynne A. Schuenemann, deceased v. Defendant, Dreemz, LLC Court of Common Pleas Philadelphia County October Term, 2008 No. 2676, filed on behalf of the Estate of Brynne A. Schuenemann by R. Erick Chizmar, Esquire, of Levy, Baldante, Finney, Rubenstein, Cohen & Chizmar, P. C. contends that Dreemz nightclub served an excessive amount of alcohol to a visibly intoxicated Schuenemann to the point where her blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit.

At the time of her death, Schuenemann was attending Temple University and was working part time in the bookkeeping department of a Philadelphia law firm. A well-respected, reliable and conscientious young woman, Schuenemann ultimately wanted to work as a Social Worker or Paralegal.

"This was a tragic case that didn't need to happen," says Chizmar. "While Pennsylvania permits and even encourages the sale of intoxicating beverages for profit, bars and restaurants must bear the social responsibility of protecting the public and their customers by ensuring that they do not continue to serve alcoholic beverages to noticeably intoxicated customers."

At trial, Dreemz could not identify the name of any bartender who was employed on the night of Schuenemann's death and could not produce one Certification card verifying that its beverage service personnel were formally trained (by the Liquor Control Board or by an entity certified by the board to conduct such training) to recognize and prevent the service of alcohol to visibly intoxicated persons. This was one of the conditions imposed upon Dreemz when it requested and obtained its Liquor License.

The verdict in the civil case, which was decided on May 14, 2010 in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, concluded that Defendant, Dreemz Nightclub violated Pennsylvania by serving alcohol to a visibly intoxicated Brynne Schuenemann and further determined that the conduct of Dreemz "showed reckless indifference to the interests of Schuenemann and others." The jury allocated responsibility for the accident and determined that Dreemz was 51% negligent and Schuenemann 49% negligent. Thus, the final verdict will be reduced by 49%.

"Dreemz, like many bar and nightclub owners insisted on placing profitability over the greater need for public health and safety," says Chizmar. "These actions substantially contributed to Schuenemann's death and the pain and suffering endured by her and her family. While we in no way condone drinking and driving, I am hopeful that this verdict will emphatically remind Pennsylvania's restaurant and bar owners that under no circumstances should they serve alcohol to visibly intoxicated customers."

The Real Da Vinci Code: Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man (Da Vinci Man) is a Code for Success

The Real Da Vinci Code: Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man (Da Vinci Man) is a Code for Success

Author Allen Rubin in his new book, “The Da Vinci Man Code: Leonardo’s Real Secret Code” indicates that Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man is a universal code for greater success: to help improve our communication, love, wealth, health and spiritual growth. Allen's ten years research is supported by 400 illustrations.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 7, 2006

Leonardo's Vitruvian Man (with four arms and four legs) is the most popular secular symbol in the world. Author Allen Rubin in his new book, "The Da Vinci Man Code: Leonardo's Real Secret Code" suggests that Leonardo's Vitruvian Man is a universal code for greater success: to help improve our communication, love, wealth, health and spiritual growth. Allen's ten years research is supported by 400 illustrations(http://www. davincimancode. com/ (http://www. davincimancode. com/)).

Allen believes that Leonardo's Da Vinci Man is a symbol for the new age 21st century paradigm of indivisible wholeness, the paradigm for world peace. A symbol for "A New Renaissance."

Da Vinci devoted over 20 years of his life to the squaring of the circle, represented by the Vitruvian Man, his figure with four arms and four legs. Many believe it was Da Vinci's greatest passion and he himself believed it would transform humanity. Da Vinci believed that the proportions of the human body are magical and the Da Vinci Man represented man (the microcosm) created in the image of God (the macrocosm).

Leonardo said it best: "The outstretched arms and legs of a man form a square and a circle: the square symbolizes the solid physical world and the circle the spiritual and eternal. Man bridges the gap between these two worlds."

--Leonardo Da Vinci, "The Magical Proportions of Man"

According to Allen Rubin, "The Da Vinci Man Code identifies an overlooked pattern of indivisible wholeness in nature and human behavior (represented by the two conjoined Da Vinci forms. Recognizing this pattern allows us to see God's plan unfolding in our life. This unity or complementarity of opposites is found everywhere, like Yin and Yang. This complementarity is also represented by the Star of David and Christian Cross. This pattern will help us understand who we really are and help us to more easily achieve the love, wealth, health and spiritual growth we really want."

Allen's research indicates that the Da Vinci Man is a code for better relationships and lasting love: "The two conjoined forms of the Da Vinci Man remind us that, in great relationships, a man is able to empathize with his own feminine nature as well as his partner’s (and vice versa)."

"A couple working in partnership feels like they are united in one body with four arms and four legs, like the Da Vinci Man. Tenderness in relationships (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle) motivates each partner to achieve greater success (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square)."

The Da Vinci Man is a code for better communication: "The two conjoined forms of the Da Vinci Man remind us that by 'venting' what is bothering us, we are able to get to our clarity (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square) and compassion (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle). Expressing our feelings, with love and permission, allows us to become aware of solutions to any problems."

The Da Vinci Man is a code for good health: The two conjoined forms of the Da Vinci Man are the most popular symbol for chiropractors and other health professionals because the Da Vinci Man represents balance and wholeness, the integrated personality.

"Life can be divided into 'living our purpose' (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square) and being in 'loving relationships' (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle). Both are needed for good health."

The Da Vinci Man is a code for success and wealth: One can accomplish their aspirations more easily (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle) if they maintain an orderly environment (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square).

The Da Vinci Man in the square and circle reminds us that obstacles can motivate us to our advantage, as stepping stones versus stumbling blocks. The two conjoined forms of the Da Vinci Man also inspire us to create a success team with others, allowing a 'win-win' situation for all. This creates a synergy that allows us to make better decisions and improve our overall success.

The Da Vinci Man is a code for spiritual growth: According to Leonardo, the Da Vinci Man in the circle represents the spiritual world. The Da Vinci Man in the circle represents the spiritual world. "This distinction is important, for we are reminded to be in the world, but not of it. While living our 'square' lives we can pray and experience union with God in the 'circle,' and thereby feel united with the Divine."

According to Allen, "The Da Vinci form in the square (the material world) is united with the Da Vinci form in the circle (the spiritual world). Whenever we want to feel close to God, we need to remember to stay connected to the Divine within."

"The two conjoined Da Vinci forms also imply a balanced spirituality, roots to ground us (Da Vinci Man in square) and wings to let us fly (circle). Also, by 'allowing' (Da Vinci Man in circle), whenever we feel discomfort (square), we are reminded that God is also there healing us, and we can experience God’s love within. God is carrying us, like 'Footprints in the Sand.'"

FAANT Elevates Patient Service with New Website From i5 Web Works

FAANT Elevates Patient Service with New Website From i5 Web Works

Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas, LLP, launched a comprehensive Website for the public and patients that offers a wealth of information about foot and ankle problems and cures. The site also features patient insurance forms, special tips for runners and an online store that provides convenient and affordable access to physician-approved foot care products.

Southlake, TX (PRWEB) February 26, 2008

Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas, LLP, launched a comprehensive Website for the public and patients that offers a wealth of information about foot and ankle problems and cures. The site also features patient insurance forms, special tips for runners and an online store that provides convenient and affordable access to physician-approved foot care products.

For a group of physicians that maintains medical records electronically, uses digital x-rays, digital foot scanning technology and a computerized mat that analyzes the way a person walks, a great Website is a must.

When doctors Marybeth Crane, Adriana Karpati and Dana Giacalone, who practice together as Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas, LLP, decided to upgrade their online practice they asked i5 web works to build a Website that reflects their commitment to technology and passion for empathic patient care.

The results speak for themselves at www. faant. com. The site guides patients and visitors through the full range of medical services the podiatrists offer, including everything from ingrown nails and heel pain to sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage and foot care for children. New patients can download and complete forms in advance and verify their insurance will be accepted.

The site introduces the reader to the affiliated "Healthy Steps" foot specialty store, which offers custom-fitted orthotics, athletic shoes and comfortable footwear for those who want to prevent future foot problems, all overseen by a certified pedorthist.

The "Runners' First Aid" section shows ways to avoid common running injuries and treat minor ones so they don't become chronic problems. This section is born of the experience of Dr. Crane, whose sports medicine specialization is reinforced by her experience competing in leading marathons, including Boston, New York City and Chicago.

The doctors say a user-friendly website with useful and practical information helps meet their practice goal of providing "comprehensive, compassionate, conscientious care" for their patients' foot and ankle needs.

"Our physicians wrote all the information on the Website," Dr. Crane said. "This is an extension of our practice, not boiler plate lifted from other podiatry sites. We strive to continually educate our patients and the community in the confusing world of health care information. Partnering with i5 also allows us to provide a site of which we can be proud, and to launch our new book, Got Feet? A User's Guide to Foot and Ankle Health, which we are providing free-of-charge to the North Texas community."

I5 web works co-founder Carita Weaver said development of the site was helped considerably because of the physicians' personal involvement and technological bent. "These doctors work with advanced technology every day, so the Website is a natural outgrowth of that," Weaver said. "But it's the thought behind this project that is impressive: they work constantly to improve the way they deliver health care."

Indoor Health Care Network and REM Mate Co-founder Awarded by US Business Advisory Council

Indoor Health Care Network and REM Mate Co-founder Awarded by US Business Advisory Council

Indoor Health Care Network’s co-founder, Bill Zimmermann, developer of REM Mate air purifier, was selected among New York’s “Top 100 in Business Leadership” for this year’s national Business Advisory Council awards.

Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) March 4, 2006

Indoor Health Care Network’s co-founder, Bill Zimmermann, was selected among New York’s “Top 100 in Business Leadership” for this year’s national Business Advisory Council awards.

The Business Advisory Council made a full page announcement in the Wall Street Journal February 8, 2006, listing the top US leaders who have successfully integrated business and financial success.

The Business Advisory Council’s “2005 Businessmen of the Year” award went to American business leaders from all walks, and cited Buffalo’s Bill Zimmermann of Indoor Health Care Network in their international print broadcast as one of New York State’s Top 100 listed business leaders.

“These influential community leaders were singled out to receive this prestigious award because of their willingness to provide invaluable input to the Business Advisory Council,” the official notice in Wall Street Journal stated.

Of the Top 100 New Yorkers listed, Zimmermann was one of a few members from the Buffalo and Western New York area, with the larger proportion selected from New York City and the major corporate-based regions in the State.

Indoor Health Care Network, co-founded by Zimmermann to “build the bridge between the indoor environment and the health care community” manufactures REM Mate, a pure air, sleep-inducing, bedroom environment air purifier, using science-based health technology components for general health family use, manufactured in Buffalo and sold throughout the world.

Indoor Health Care Network, of Buffalo, NY,(http://www. indoorhealthcare. com (http://www. indoorhealthcare. com)) , is the first national network that deals directly with health care professionals and their patients, focused on the patient’s indoor environment. Products range from air purifiers and household environment products, to services such as duct cleaning and mold remediation, capable of servicing over 25,000 American communities.

“We’re likely the fastest growing health care field,” Zimmermann noted, whose company is growing aggressively to “teach the health care provider to see beyond the patient, to the patient’s home environment.” The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) notes that we spend up to 90% of our time indoors, where the air pollution is five to 20 to 100 times worse than outdoors.

Indoor Health Care Network works with health care professionals and families to seek non-drug, whole health, preventable and treatable environmental remedies to those elements in the environment which can hazard our family’s health. The revolution in health care, to see beyond the patient to the patient’s environment, can be viewed in its ongoing growth and progress at http://www. indoorhealthcare. com (http://www. indoorhealthcare. com).

The Business Advisory Council, based out of Washington D. C., is a prestigious group of businessmen and women, who advocate a progressive, conservative, pro-business agenda. The Business Advisory Council allows for these individuals to pool their expertise and know-how to bring some common business sense to Washington.

Zimmermann will accept the award at a National Business Advisory Council dinner on March 16 in Washington, D. C. that will be headlined by President George W. Bush. Zimmermann will also attend an awards luncheon on March 15 where Bush advisor Karl Rove will speak.

"I'm a proud supporter of the Business Advisory Council and its mission, and I'm truly honored to be accepting this award at a dinner that President Bush will be attending," Zimmermann said. " I'm simply glad to have a voice in Washington through the Business Advisory Council."

The Council is comprised of business men and women who meet and discuss ways to grow their businesses, create jobs and overcome challenges. The council's members meet with members of Congress and work to bring common business sense to Washington.

Hansink Joins Bonfire Communications as Campaign Director

Hansink Joins Bonfire Communications as Campaign Director

Kimberly Hansink, a seasoned consultant and communications expert, has joined Bonfire Communications as Campaign Director.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 15, 2007

Bonfire Communications announced that Kimberly Hansink has joined the company as a campaign director in the San Francisco office. In this role, Hansink uses Bonfire's unique methodology to help large organizations drive strategy through effective internal communications campaigns.

Before joining Bonfire, Hansink spent six years as a senior consultant with The Gallup Organization, where she helped clients improve financial performance by using survey research to understand and increase employee and customer engagement. Her clients included major technology, healthcare and retail organizations. Hansink also acted as an executive coach and talent advisor to her clients.

According to Gordon Rudow, chief executive of Bonfire Communications, many large-scale corporate change initiatives fail because they are built on thin and ill-conceived communications that don't connect with the hearts and minds of employees. He hailed Hansink's arrival saying, "Kim's employee engagement background with Gallup adds another vital dimension to Bonfire's eclectic team of professionals, expanding the range of ideas and insights we bring to our clients."

Rudow added, "Our clients look to Bonfire for diverse and multi-faceted expertise that allows them to launch campaigns that transcend the usual silos of communications and human resources to influence employees in a way that truly ignites collective action."

Prior to her tenure with Gallup, Hansink spent 10 years in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, including lead roles in public relations and internal communications with Red Lion Hotels and Inns, Hong Kong-based Regal Hotels International, and Rock Bottom Restaurants. During the late 1990s, Hansink led regional marketing for KPMG's Information, Communications and Entertainment (ICE) consulting practice.

Rudow said, "Bonfire is known for bringing a unique blend of talent to the table for every engagement, and adding Kim to the mix increases our firepower across all of our client relationships."

Bonfire Communications is an award-winning internal communications agency and thought leader in the worlds of employee engagement and strategic communications. For more than a decade, the agency has helped clients craft and implement some of the most interactive and effective employee communication campaigns in the business. Bonfire's client roster includes names such as Gap Inc., Banana Republic, Starbucks, Harrah's Entertainment and Genentech.
