Consumer advocate Fields and his wife, Denise Fields, have been investigating and rating baby products since 1994, when they first published “Baby Bargains.’’ Now in its sixth edition published in March 2005, “Baby Bargains” is filled with up-to-the-minute descriptions, ratings and recommendations of products for infants and toddlers, including “best buys” and which products to avoid.

The new edition of “Baby 411,” published in August 2005, is the ultimate FAQ guide for new parents. Co-authored with Dr. Ari Brown, an award-winning, Harvard-trained pediatrician with a private practice based in Austin, TX, in an easy-to-read question and answer format, “Baby 411” explores infant health from a fresh and non-judgmental approach.

The Fields have been featured on Oprah, The Today Show, Good Morning America and Dateline NBC. Since the their first book in 1990, the couple has been reviewing products, advising on purchases and offering candid, valued opinions on a variety of topics for couples and parents. The Fields currently live in Boulder, CO with their sons Ben and Jack.
